Partecipation Rules

1.    This platform is designed to allow us to know each other. Accepted languages are therefore Italian and English.
2.    Do not spam.
3.    Do not post to the forum a message intended for one person. Messages are visible to all registered users and everyone can read and reply them.
4.    Do not register more than one nick-name and/or profile: such behaviour is considered to be objectionable as it could arouse suspicion of misleading identity. You are responsible  for all information posted on the Platform by anyone using your user name and password. Any breach of security of a user name and password should be notified to us immediately.
5.    Write short and essential paragraphs and messages.
6.    Your message should be necessarily within the scope of the subject under discussion.
7.    Avoid excessive use of quotations while replying to questions.
8.    Try to use a formal and unaggressive language.
9.    Use a brief, comprehensive and efficacious message text according to the subject.
10.    Write in capitals with discretion as it is often interpreted as YELLING on line.
11.    Avoid sarcasm or humor. To express a specific tone of voice or a witticism use emoticons.
12.    Do not pretend to get answers immediately. Be patient and tolerant with users. Someone will help you as soon as possible.
13.    Do not be afraid of posting apparent banalities and/or doing mistakes; a group discussion is useful for everyone and many could have your same problems/issues
14.    Do not use the forum as if it were a chat; avoid posting using just emoticons.

Limits of Responsability and Guarantee
•    Politecnico di Milano – Centro Metid has no direct control over information produced by INTESE users and it will not be considered responsible for behaviour  that violates the above-mentioned terms and conditions of use. Every user that accesses the training course and Community on INTESE platform accepts his/her own responsibility for whatever he/she publishes.
•    Politecnico di Milano – Centro Metid accepts no liability for damage and prejudice that could hurt the users or third parts derived from downloading or visualizing on a computer any kind of material available on INTESE Platform and especially within the Community.
•    While using the INTESE platform the student agrees not to exploit material for unlawful purposes: furthermore, he/she accepts non to enter content that could violate intellectual property rights and legal status;

Service suspension
In case the above-mentioned terms and conditions of use should be violated Politecnico di Milano – Centro METID reserves explicitly the right, without notice, to suspend the user access to the Platform and to eliminate all entered data.
 
PRIVACY NOTICE UNDER THE PROVISIONS OF ART.13 OF ITALIAN LEGISLATIVE DECREE 196/03
 
1. According to the present privacy notice, data refers to users of the INTE.S.E. platform, including those linked to their picture, and to the operations they perform on the INTE.S.E. website.
2. Purpose of the personal data processing
Personal data are processed according to all purposes related to design, delivery and service dissemination and include:
-    purposes related to monitoring, analyzing and evaluating the use of the service
-    purposes related to teaching, learning, and research
3. Data processing procedure
In relation to the stated purposes, the data processing is carried out  with digital tools
In any case the protection is ensured by password.
Persons to whom the data can be transmitted: internal and external entities that perform specific tasks on behalf of the Politecnico di Milano, including:
-   Italian Ministry of Interior, Immigration and civil liberties Department;
-    Partners in the project referred in paragraph 1;
-    Subjects that provide outsourcing services or acting as technicians operating the E-CoP equipment and service programs;
-    Legal consultants;
-    Entities / authorities for issuing public key certificates;
-    Entities / companies that are specialized in customer satisfaction monitoring.
4. Rights of the interested party under Art. 7 of Italian Legislative Decree 196/03
Under Article. 7 of Italian Legislative Decree 196/03, the interested party has the right to:
-    obtain confirmation of the existence or non-existence of the personal data which concern him/her, even if they are not yet registered, and the communication of the same in intelligible form;
-    obtain the following indications:
a. the origin of personal data;
b. the purposes and methods of data processing;
c. the logic applied in case of processing with electronic tools;
d. the identity of the owner, manager and designated representative under Article. 5 paragraph 2;
e. the subjects or categories of persons to whom personal data may be communicated and who can learn about them as appointed representative in the State, managers or agents.
-    obtain:
a. the updating, correction, or when he / she is therein interested, the integration of the data
b. the cancellation, transformation into anonymous form or the block of data treated in breach of the law, including data which need not be preserved in relation to the purposes for which the data were gathered or subsequently treated;
c. the statement that the operations referred to in letters a) and b) were brought to the knowledge, also as regards their content, of those to whom the data were communicated or disseminated, with the exception of cases where such fulfillment is impossible or entails use of means clearly out of proportion with respect to the protected right.
The interested party has the right to oppose, wholly or in part:
-    for legitimate reasons the processing of personal data, which concern him / her, although they may be relevant to the purpose of the gathering of data
-     the processing of personal data concerning him/her for the purpose of sending advertising materials or direct selling or for carrying out market surveys or commercial communications.
5. Owner and Controller of the treatment
Please note that:
-    The owner of the treatment is Politecnico di Milano
-    The treatment controller is Prof. Alberto Colorni
6. Finally, we inform you that in order to obtain a proper service delivery it is mandatory that you provide us the required data, otherwise it will be impossible to deliver the service.
 

PERSONAL DATA AUTHORIZATION UNDER THE PROVISIONS OF ART.23 OF ITALIAN LEGISLATIVE DECREE 196/03
I the undersigned, acquired the information provided by the owner of the treatment under the provisions of art.13 of Italian Legislative Decree 196/, give my consent to the processing of personal data, the disclosure  and the dissemination of personal data for the purposes and in range of above-mentioned privacy notice.
