Welcome to Politecnico di Torino

http://international.polito.it/en

The Regio Politecnico di Torino (Royal Turin Polytechnic) was founded in 1906, but its origins go back further. It was preceded by the Scuola di Applicazione per gli Ingegneri (Technical School for Engineers) founded in 1859. 2009 marked the 150th anniversary of Politecnico di Torino's foundation and its long-standing tradition has been the basis for the reputation it enjoys today as one of the leading technical universities in Italy and throughout the world. Our success is confirmed by the high number of students that apply every year to Politecnico di Torino from all over Italy and from abroad (12% of students come from foreign countries). Students choose Politecnico di Torino because of its serious approach, selectivity, and also because it is challenging and rewards students for merit, providing the basis for a successful career.
