Thanks to the INTESE project you will have the opportunity to follow, free of charge, one of the courses organised by MIP, the School of Management of Politecnico di Milano.


Course duration: 16 hours
Time schedule: the courses, organised on two days in succession, will be offered in May/June 2011.

Milan: classes will start every day at 9.00 AM and will end at 06.00 PM (18.00).

Rome: classes will start every day at 9.30 AM and will end at 06.30 PM (18.30)

Knowledge required in advanced: students coming from any university address can take lessons. The courses do not require any specialized background.

1. Multicultural Management and Conflict Management

Milan, the 30th and 31st of May 2011 - Rome, the 14th and 15th of June 2011

Dealing with diversities: when the differences make the difference: national cultures, company cultures and  individual cultures, the inevitable cross road for future managers. The importance of understanding the nature of conflict, new strategies for the conflict management.

2. Managing Businesses in a Global Economy

Milan, the 16th and 17th of May 2011 - Rome, the 6th and 7th of June 2011

The world economy is undergoing a major process of de-industrialization of high-per capita income countries, which are evolving from being manufacturing-centered to service-centered. Such sweeping changes have, and will have, profound influence on the way business is managed if it is to be successful. In this two-day course we aim at answering questions arousing from this new scenario.

3. Team Working for creativity and innovation

Milan, the 10th and 11th of May 2011 - Rome, the 17th and 18th of May 2011

The aim of the course is to describe the creative process and identify the features that are related to collective creativity.  The course also  draw the reflection on the key issues associated with the management of the creative and innovation processes.

MIP, the School of Management of Politecnico di Milano covers numerous areas of research, education and high level consultancy in the fields of economics, management and industrial engineering, which Politecnico di Milano undertakes through its own structures and those of the consortium.

The School of Management is composed of: the Department of Management, Economics and Industrial Engineering and the Business School MIP.

Overall, there are over two hundred professors, lecturers, researchers, tutors and staff members and every year over six hundred new students enroll in the undergraduate programme.
